FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION: MY PUBLISHING JOURNEY
Planning & Brainstorming
What began as scattered notes and late-night inspirations gradually took shape into the world of Navaerian. Creating maps, character profiles, and mythology consumed my early weeks, building the foundation for what would become a complete universe.
The Writing Process
Armed with outlines and character arcs, I dove into the drafting process. Some days the words flowed like the magical winds of Navaerian; other days required more persistence. Through it all, the story continued to evolve in ways I never anticipated.
Editing & Refinement
Perhaps the most challenging phase: cutting beloved scenes, strengthening character motivations, and polishing prose. Special thanks to my beta readers who provided invaluable feedback that shaped the final manuscript.
Formatting & Legal Preparation
The business side of publishing presented its own learning curve. From imprint to tax registration. Formatting for various e-readers and print requirements taught me patience I didn’t know I possessed!
